All sorts of people volunteer to work with us at Emmaus Gloucestershire and they do it for all sorts of reasons.
Some want to help others, some are simply keen to drive a van, and others want to spend their time sorting through bric-a-brac looking for that special bargain, we even had one guy who just loved repairing broken furniture in our workshop. Sadly he’s left now and we’d love to find someone to fill his place...
Whatever the reason they can all be sure that their efforts are helping the Emmaus Community to support itself through the collection and sale of re-used furniture and household goods and at the same time they’re having some fun, meeting people, and helping others.
